Bindery Operator – 1st Shift
A Bindery Operator is involved in setting up and running any of the following bindery equipment: cutters, folders, scoring-perfing units, gluing apparatus, stitching, tabbing, imaging and inserting. The Operator must maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
We seek an energetic, hard working person to learn the duties of the finishing area. Must be mechanically inclined, reliable & able to lift up to 50#. Ability to tolerate frequent bending, turning, lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
Regular schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm w/opportunity for overtime.
Material Handler - 1st Shift
Duties include less-than-case picking, packing and shipping via UPS, cycle counting, some receiving and other warehouse tasks. Must be organized, have good attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification or eligibility for certification required.
Regular schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm w/limited overtime.
IT Project Manager
We are looking to expand our Technology team with an individual responsible for leading the planning and implementation of various IT projects, especially related to custom web applications and e-commerce offerings. Prepares detailed project plans and documents activities through development phases, including establishment of milestones and contingency plans. Monitors project progress and efficiently reports status to clients & internal sales contact(s).
Position requires a minimum of 5 years project management experience along with a degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Needed are strong organizational, communication, presentation and customer service skills. Must be self-motivated and able to juggle multiple and regularly changing priorities/deadlines.
PHP Developer
Individual will be involved in the engineering of customized technology solutions for our clients. Position involves interfacing with both our Sales team as well as our clients and collaborating on projects with the Technology group. Strong Linux programming, PHP 5, MySQL and code repositories are required for success. Front-end experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery, JSON, and/or AJAX desired. Knowledge of Apache, OSX, Perl and the command line, as well as internet security, are a plus. Must be self-motivated and able to juggle multiple and changing priorities/deadlines regularly.
Web-2-Print Specialist
BFC seeks someone that has experience setting up and maintaining Web2Print ecommerce websites from the initial planning stages to daily troubleshooting & maintenance. Candidates for a position at BFC should possess a strong work ethic as well as be detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and have good written & verbal communication skills.
Needed are a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Acrobat; Microsoft Office – Excel & Word; as well as CSS creation/editing is required for branding websites in our system. Light scripting – logic-based programming in almost any relevant programming language is necessary as well as experience working with FTP, SFTP and Web Browser rendering engines also required.
Typical schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with additional hours as necessary.
