
Situation –
The Warranty Group is the world’s premier provider of extended service
plans, with operations in 33 countries and 2100 employees. By providing underwriting,
claims administration, compliance and marketing expertise, The Warranty Group
is a single source solution for manufacturers, distributors and retailers of
consumer goods including autos, homes, consumer electronics and appliances.
The Warranty Group was looking to secure a strong partner that could handle
fulfillment of all of its automotive manuals.
Challenge –
Seek a partner that could handle fulfillment of manuals ranging from 30 to
350 pages in 500 variations. The inventory management included shipping to
more than 19,000 of The Warranty Group’s customers, with the variations
including rate differences.
BFC Response –
BFC developed a fully integrated online data management system that allowed
for the ordering, tracking and fulfillment of thousands of orders – most
of which were similar but with very slight differences than others. By being
able to provide an industry strong system that made sure customers received
manuals with their customized rates, BFC was able to control The Warranty Group’s
messaging to its own customers at a rate of 750 to 800 online orders per month.
Customer Response –
By being able to develop a tailored system that fit the needs of The Warranty
Group and its end users, BFC gave the client the ability to expand its collateral
shipments to the automobile industry as the largest after market supplier of
warranties. No longer is The Warranty Group having any apprehension about manuals
with different rates ending up being sent to the wrong customers, and they
now have the room to grow within BFC’s system.
